We step back to to the autumn and winter of 1997 with these four Sonic Mook Experiment flyers. The names on them are like a snapshot of the rising big beat culture of 97/98 and the beginning of the nu breaks scene. However the night itself was a real mix of eclecticism with bands like Suicide, Sigue Sigue Sputnik meeting DJs like Jimmy Pursey, Jerry Dammers, the Dub Pistols and Meat Katie over the following years. The beginnings of the indie / dance / disco scene that we see today.
